I use four different dry rubs to season the meat. Everything is slow cooked without BBQ sauce because the sauce hides the smokey flavor. All Yazoo meat items can fend for themselves in taste but we will let you add different BBQ sauces: Southern/Florida Mild, Mild Sweet, Hot Tangy, Super Hot, and Sign a Disclaimer Hot! Yes it’s that hot!

HOW YOU KNOW IT’S GOOD:
Count how many times you’ve been disappointed because it’s sold out of nearly every damn thing. This is a regular problem at the original location (there’s a newer outpost in Greenwood Village), where dinner is often catch-as-catch-can, depending on how many other Deep South barbecue freaks have gotten there before you.
MOUNTAINS OF PORK:
But at least the kitchen makes mountains of pork shoulders every day, so it’s unlikely to run out of pulled pork — which is handy, because pulled pork is what we happen to do better than anyone else in town.
